Moving museums and getting snowed in

The last few weeks have been pretty crazy. I thought Virginia weather was crazy but it's nothing compared to Colorado. One day warm and sunny, the next morning a blizzard. Ok, blizzard might be a stretch, but I didn't expect to be walking around in 5+ inches of snow before Halloween. For some reason we have a sled in our apartment, so we went to a little hill nearby and made the most of the snow, since it'll all probably melt in a few days.  I'm still in Castle Rock with Elder Jex, so he'll be my companion until he goes home. I've never had a companion of mine be at the end of their mission, so this should be fun. Elder Jex has served a great almost 2 years, I'm glad I get to keep serving with him for the next while. We've still been able to do service, although we can only enter people's homes for a short amount of time. One lady we moved was a neighbor of a member of our church. General Conference tomorrow and Sunday

Oi gente!    Sorry this email is later in the week than usual, but I just wanted to remind you all that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints General Conference will be this Saturday and Sunday!   At General Conference, we are privileged to hear from the leaders of the Church, we are able to hear from a prophet on earth, Russel M Nelson, God's mouthpiece to speak to us. Being able to hear the revelation and counsel from prophets and apostles is one of the best things about General Conference.  I love hearing the wonderful messages of the gospel and Jesus Christ, and having the opportunity to refocus my life  on what really matters most.   Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Besides preparing for General Conference, Elder Jex and I have continued doing lots of service.
